Application process

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree emiSS recruits well-motivated students from all over the world.

The very best candidates will receive an Erasmus Mundus scholarship!

The application process is extremely selective and only the best candidates will be admitted to the programme.

Application to the EMJMD emiSS programme is made with the online application form.

Application Form

This online form expects to be an easy and simple way to prepare your application, allowing you to introduce progressively the details and information required.

You must start creating your new user by choosing your new e-mail and password.

The Application Form should be filled in English, as well as all the attached documents (unless otherwise indicated in specific documents in section “documents upload” of the online application) so that all the host institutions may be able to analyse the submitted proposal.

Before starting to fill in the Application Form, you must be sure of having all the certificates and language skills required to attend the Master Course.

Please note that incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration. Read carefully the list of documents and make sure you attached everything to your application, including translations. NO DOCUMENT may be sent by post or email at that stage.

Calendar & Deadlines

First round : OPEN from 28th November 2022 until 28th February 2023
Step 1) Online application: before February 28th, 2023  (23:59 CET)
Step 2) Publication list of candidates selected to participate in the master programme: end of March 2023
Step 3) Publication list of candidates selected for the award of an Erasmus Mundus scholarship: end of March 2023
Please note that only Students candidating for the first round have the possibility to apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarships.
Second round:  April 15th to June 15th 2023  - Only for self-funded candidates or candidates with external funds

Application to an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship

Application to the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is made through the online application tool during the regular application to the emiSS Programme.

Non-EU and EU students can apply for up to three Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees each year. However, a student can benefit only once from an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. In the case that the applicant is selected for more than one EMJMD, they must decide which one they want to follow.
